James & Monroe are pleased to announce the opening of our new Sydney office (just across the hall from the old Sydney office!).

The new offices will allow us to provide our state of the art training in EPM and BI as well as comfortable conference facilities for both staff and clients.

James & Monroe once again sponsored the New Zealand Oracle Users Group conference and presented at both NZOUG & ODTUG.

The conferences were well attended; with attendees from both EPM/BI and ERP backgrounds, and from both the private and public sectors.

Richard Philipson presented two topics, one each day of the conferences on BI Apps & Essbase. Both were well attended as Richard is a popular and knowledgeable presenter. We also presented a well-received talk on the future of BI and have subsequently raised interest in the local marketplace.

Keyteach are a UK company who have designed their own EPM/BI training courses tailored to the Oracle product stack . Keyteach have a huge presence in the UK, Europe, South Africa and North America. James & Monroe are now exclusive partners with Keyteach in the Australian & New Zealand markets and as such will be running our own courses, both public and private. This is the first time courses such as these have been offered in our region and allows us great flexibility and an exciting new service for our clients.

Richard Philipson the J&M New Zealand Practice Manager presented at Kaleidoscope 12 after his paper ‘Leveraging EPM showing BI on Mobile Devices’ was accepted from hundreds of submissions.

Richard’s presentation focussed on leveraging existing investment in EPM and utilising it to provide insightful and immediate information using mobile solutions. Effectively we no longer only provide self-service reporting and analysis but are engaged in information delivery, challenging our solutions to be smarter and more versatile to deliver quality not quantity. This demonstration also included some hands-on work with iPads to show the look and feel of the application.
